That's right, we've reached the last three days of the Northern Steele campaign! And we're nearly to our next stretch goal, a die-cut logo sticker, brilliantly designed by Ken Reynolds! I know we can get there!

I just want to say thank you again to all you great folks who have pledged to bring this book to life. And not only that, extending the life of the series into a volume two. Not many details to share at this time, but Steele will return.

I also want to extend my gratitude to several wonderful creators who were gracious enough to pass along this wild book to their own backers. Thanks to C. Edward Sellner (Deadlands,) Mike Connell (The Beastiary,) Benjamin Morse (We Are Scarlet Twilight,) and Matt Nixon (Dodge!) and congratulations to each of you on amazing campaigns.

Let's keep this thing going strong!

Hey, Everyone!

I'm really pleased we hit the first stretch goal. I absolutely love that piece by Slobodan and one of the best colorists in comics, K. Michael Russell. It's going to look great in print.

As we head into our final week for the Northern Steele campaign, we'd love to hit another stretch goal and be able to put funds towards some of the really cool stuff we have in the works with our publisher, Outland Entertainment.

Speaking of really cool stuff, Slobodan's pencils for the interior cover to Issue #3:

If you'd like to see more Steele stories, tell your friends or your local comic shop. If you'd like to see TTRPG material set in the Northern Steele universe, tell your gaming group. If you'd like to see even more Mounties, Monsters and Mayhem,  give us a like, a share, an RT, a story, however you social, give us a shout.

And speaking of a shout, check out these campaigns. They are both excellent comics that I've backed since their first issues, I highly recommend them.

WE ARE SCARLET TWILIGHT

We Are Scarlet Twilight is one of the best looking books to ever hit Kickstarter. Writer/artist Benjamin Morse's "cyberpulp adventure" is a wonderful homage to the pulp era as well as an evolution of it. All three issues are available through his Kickstarter, don't miss it. DODGE!

Matt Nixon's Dodge! is one of my favorite books, period. It's a killer combination of the supernatural and an 80s action movie. And it's illustrated by the incredible Mike Rooth. It's fun, it's funny and it's gritty. Matt's got a reward tier for all three issues, but it's limited, so head over quick. Click the picture to check out the campaign.

Hey, Backers! You did it! Slobodan, myself and the fantastic folks at Outland Entertainment can't thank you enough for your generosity and excitement for our main Mountie, Sam Steele. We're so excited for you all to read Sam's adventures and take in Slobodan's incredible art. But we've still got 13 days left to see where this trail takes us!

We're coming up on the first stretch goal, so I wanted to share with you the print that everyone who backed for a physical copy while receive. Art by Slobodan Jovanvoic with colors by K. Michael Russell!

Deadlands: Dead Man's Hand 

The folks at Outland have even more weird westerns coming your way and their latest, Deadlands: Dead Man's Hand, is among my favorites! The upcoming Kickstarter collects this great series of one-shots from 2011 set in Shane Lacy Hensley's Deadlands universe! These comics feature some of the best western talent out there including two of my favorite writers in Jeff Mariotte and Ron Marz! I already own the floppies, but you bet I'll be backing to see the gorgeous production work from Outland! Sign up to be notified when the campaign launches!

The Beastiary

Can you believe that there's another supernatural frontier story set in the Canadian wilderness on Kickstarter right now!? Lucky for us! This book looks great, it's fully funded and going strong. I have a feeling if you like Northern Steele you'll want to check out Mike Connell and Kevin Manklow's graphic novel.
